Abstract

This article seeks to demonstrate the social and emotional effects of Covid-19 on the academic performance of students of Electrical Engineering careers in the areas of electricity and electronics. The methodology used for the analysis is descriptive, observational and prospective analytical, developed through questionnaires previously endorsed by the Ethics Committee of the University of Antofagasta. The results show an emotional exhaustion in the course of the academic year, being affected indicators such as motivation and psychological well-being, which, however, are not consistent with the academic results obtained by the students.
