From field notes to reflection on pedagogical practicum at the preschool level. An innovative action-research experience

To foster the development of research and reflection skills related to the teaching practicum itself in a preschool setting. A field note record form witht the pedagogical experiences implemented during the practicum was used. Features such as attitude as well as conceptual and methodological knowledge are keystones in the pedagogical practicum that provide the pre-service educator with plenty of challenges and opportunities. The quality of the pedagogical performance was influenced by the socio- emotional environment in the classroom. The role that the tutor teacher played along with the feedback strategies related to the teaching practice were major factors that influenced on the pre-service educator´s attitude and confidence when teaching.
