The Educational Environment (AE) of Dentistry students at the University of Antofagasta was analyzed in the context of a COVID-19 pandemic was analyzed through a descriptive, observational and cross-sectional study, using the DREEM questionnaire as an instrument in the population of students from 1st to 6th year from March to May 2021. Stata version 16 software was used for statistical analysis with a confidence interval of 95%. The study population consisted of 115 students. A positive evaluation of the educational environment was obtained with an overall mean DREMM score of 106.74 ±10.04 (out of a maximum of 200), with the 5th year being the course with the most negative evaluation with 99 ± 13.63 points. Of the 5 domains evaluated with this instrument, the perception of teachers registered the most relevant significant differences with p-values less than 0.05 associated with negative perceptions among students. A positive educational environment was detected in the period from March to May 2021, however, there are possibly other factors not analyzed through the DREEM instrument that could be influencing the results.
