Abstract

It was carried out within the framework of the research seedbed attached to the Vice-Chancellor for Research of the University Cauca, had the objective of this paper is to identify the Environmental Education´s conceptions of Bachelor's degree students in Basic Education with an emphasis in Natural Sciences and Environmental in a South-West University in Colombia. The research used a case study from an epistemological interpretive approach, a survey was done and after that it was analyzed and interpreted. Fifteen environmental education´s conceptions were identified. The most commons conceptions in students are Holistic, Social Criticism and Resolutive. With this work, was possible to identify that the educative level doesn´t determinate an environmental conception, because the conceptions arise from cultural, politics, economics activities, or in other factors where people live around.
