In this work, we are sharing a pedagogical experience that emerged from a Qualitative Research course in a psychology degree at the University of Antofagasta. This experience focused on strengthening our curriculum through research tools and scientific dissemination by creating connections between students, teachers, and researchers with a background in qualitative methodologies and gender/feminist studies. The experience materialized in a self-managed Seminar on Qualitative Research. The seminar provided a space for academic solidarity and reflection/action around the pedagogical exercise and alternative processes of knowledge production within Social Sciences, Arts, and Humanities, challenging hegemonic paradigms. Additionally, reflections on the challenges of social research, the economic models permeating higher education, the psychopathologization and individualization of life, the colonial matrices of knowledge, and the androcentrism stagnant in scientific work emerged within the instances of discussion.
