Interculturality has raised analysis and reflections on the notion of the individual and collective, of the local and global, fostering instances to teach attitudes and values that lead to the progress of peoples. The present study aims to identify categorical patterns of nurses' experiences when living the cultural difference when they exercise care. This qualitative, phenomenological case study work, with life stories; It provides lived experiences of interaction between professional nurses and their patients. The analysis involved the application of the reductio and vocatio methodology, through the practical expression of touch. The main findings generated were stages of the development of Intercultural Competition and the operationalization of dimensions of touch when developing intercultural Competition. This projection allowed the search for new balances between satisfaction of needs and exercise of rights, for a "new treatment" in health care. This competition allows us to provide experiences of assistance and support to the human being, which promotes consistent lifestyles to improve the health of communities.
