In this work, a didactic experience in the framework of the interdisciplinarity is analyzed based on Physical Education in Initial teacher training. The experience is developed in the subject of soccer methodology, with third year students of the Physical Education Pedagogy career, considering two phases. The first one is oriented to the design of a traditional lesson plan, meanwhile, in the second phase, an interdisciplinary challenge is raised for the design and implementation of a didactic proposal. Among the difficulties that arose in phase one, it is evident that students do not have a motivating environment for learning, a situation that improves significantly in phase two due to the contribution of interdisciplinarity. Finally, the positive aspects in the use of these innovative didactics that manage to challenge and motivate students are highlighted, thus achieving significant and permanent learning over time.
